EBMfest 2009 needs volunteers!!!

Stage Hands
This year EBMfest has two volunteer positions for stage hands/assistants. People interested in helping with load-in, set up of band gear and just helping the bands in general throughout the night are requested to email ebm@ciut.fm with your full name, contact information and related experience.
Those with experience in live bands, live sound are encouraged to apply.
A modest stipend of $50 will be provided at the end of the night for your help.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided as well with backstage access.
Volunteers are required to be available on Sunday September 6,2009 from 1:30pm to 3:30 am. There will be breaks throughout the night since there are intervals when help is not required.
People living near the area of The Reverb Club, 651 Queen Street West are encouraged to apply, but folks outside the downtown area are also very welcome.
And of course you are welcome to enjoy the live performances throughout the night while you wait for tear down of each set!
Any age may apply but this position is best suited for 16+ as heavy lifting (30-50lbs) is required of you!


Runners
This year EBMfest has one volunteer position for runner. People interested in helping transport the artists throughout the night to and from the venue and hotel are requested to email ebm@ciut.fm with your full name, contact information and related experience.
You must have a valid driver's license (G or G2 class), access to a car that seats at least 4 people to transport the musicians.
A modest stipend of $30 + $10 per trip, will be provided at the end of the night for your help. You must sign for all trips using a log sheet to be reimbursed at the end of the night by staff.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided as well with backstage access.
Volunteers are required to be available on Sunday September 6,2009 from 3:00pm to 3:00 am. There will be breaks throughout the night since there are intervals when help is not required.
